If we can't explain it without acronyms, we don't understand it well enough yet. Here's the short version of the words you'll hear us use.
MDR / EDR
Software that watches every laptop and server for hackers — and a real human who calls you when something looks wrong.
Co-managed IT
Your internal IT person, plus our team. They keep their job and their relationships; we cover the gaps, the after-hours, and the projects they don’t have time for.
Patch management
Keeping every laptop, server, and app up to date so the door is locked when burglars try the handle. Boring, essential, easy to skip.
Identity & access (IAM)
Making sure the right people can log in, the wrong ones can’t, and you always know which is which — even when someone leaves.
Backup & DR
If something terrible happens, we have copies of everything. We’ve practiced the recovery. You don’t lose Tuesday.
Compliance (HIPAA / SOC 2)
Boring, exhausting paperwork that auditors love. We handle the technical controls and the evidence so you don’t have to learn the jargon.
